McQ Alexander McQueen - Fall 2012 RTW

When you see his work in person, the one thing that blows you away is the tailoring. The design you’ve seen. The tailoring you have not, not up close, and it’s astounding. One thing above anything else I think Sarah Burton has done well is maintaining that high standard for tailoring. Sometimes I see things on the runway and it looks like it was pasted together that morning. Every stitch in a McQueen is flawless. It’s breathtaking and flattering as hell.
